This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct individual DBT sessions and DBT skills groups through live video for adult clients.
• Assign digital lessons, videos, and assessments relevant to DBT to clients to enhance their learning and monitor progress between sessions.
• Participate in weekly consultation team meetings and one-on-one consultations with an expert DBT team leader.
• Co-facilitate DBT skills groups alongside other DBT providers and engage in comprehensive training to improve clinical competencies.
• Provide culturally sensitive care that considers the influence of cultural backgrounds on each individual's care experience.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues who are dedicated to delivering evidence-based care.
• Offer continuous support for clients through a team of licensed clinicians trained in DBT skills coaching.
• Clinicians must meet PSYPACT eligibility, with a preference for those currently authorized under PSYPACT.
• A PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology from an accredited graduate program is required.
• Formal training in DBT is mandatory (e.g., in-house training with a consultation team, tape review, one-on-one supervision; Behavioral Tech; DBT Foundational Training; DBT Intensive Training).
• A minimum of one year of experience providing comprehensive DBT, which includes: individual DBT therapy for clients through Stage 1 of treatment, facilitating skills groups using Linehan materials, participation on a consultation team, and skills coaching.
• DBT-LBC certification is preferred but not essential.
• Experience and comfort working with clients exhibiting high-risk behaviors, including suicidal ideation and/or self-injury, is required.
• Willingness to obtain cross-licensing in additional states as necessary to facilitate program growth.
• Experience with telehealth therapy services in a virtual setting (video and teletherapy) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency with computer and live video tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meets, DoxyMe, Skype, etc.) is essential.
