This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Perform thorough initial assessments and develop initial treatment plans.
• Deliver individual and family therapy primarily to adult clients, encompassing lifespan care.
• Address a range of diagnoses, including general mental health conditions and serious mental illness (SMI).
• Collaborate with psychiatry, crisis intervention services, peer support, case managers, and other supportive services.
• Offer virtual outpatient therapy in partnership with a Kansas-based organization.
• Oversee a caseload of 6–8 clients scheduled daily.
• Conduct initial evaluations lasting 60–90 minutes and follow-up appointments for 30–60 minutes.
• Allocate 1–2 hours weekly for administrative tasks.
• Maintain a Monday–Friday schedule of 40 hours per week, including three evenings after 5 p.m. CST.
• Demonstrated experience in providing therapy as an independently licensed Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW).
• A valid and active Kansas LSCSW license is required.
• An active Kansas Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC) license, or the willingness and eligibility to obtain LCAC licensure, is necessary.
• Preferred experience in treating clients with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring mental health and substance use issues.
• Full-time availability for a 40-hour work week during CST hours.
• Experience and comfort in treating patients across various levels of acuity.
• Telehealth experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with SmartCare is advantageous.
• Must reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory.
• Must have successfully passed the ASWB, NCW, and/or NCMHCE examinations to achieve clinical licensure.
• Independent LSCSW licensure must be current and active in Kansas.
