This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Provide specialized vocational rehabilitation assistance to participants facing health, disability, neurodiversity, or wellbeing challenges.
• Evaluate functional capabilities and the effects of physical and mental health issues on employment and work readiness.
• Perform vocational and functional assessments, creating customized interventions and support plans.
• Design work capability profiles, return-to-work strategies, and recommendations for workplace adjustments.
• Develop and implement rehabilitation, adaptation, and workplace support strategies that enhance employment outcomes.
• Assist participants in establishing realistic employment objectives and advancing towards sustainable job placements.
• Create workplace-specific in-work support plans to facilitate job retention and sustainability.
• Utilize professional judgment and strong clinical reasoning to identify risks, barriers, and opportunities.
• Offer specialized advice and guidance to colleagues regarding vocational rehabilitation and workplace modifications.
• Engage in multidisciplinary triage processes and specialist pathway allocation.
• Foster effective relationships with employers, stakeholders, and partner organizations.
• Keep precise records, reports, and evidence requirements in accordance with quality and contractual standards.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team alongside Employment Advisors and Wellbeing Specialists.
• Assist participants in building confidence, managing obstacles, and preparing for sustainable employment.
• Active UK professional registration.
• HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist, or another registered health professional with relevant experience in vocational rehabilitation, occupational health, return-to-work, or employment support.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong clinical reasoning abilities.
• Empathy, professionalism, and a person-centred approach.
• Dedication to providing high-quality assessments and customer experiences.
• Experience in supporting individuals with complex health, disability, or wellbeing needs.
• Proficiency in report writing, assessments, and action planning.
• Skilled in Microsoft 365.
• Subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults.
• Awareness of the Prevent Duty and the positive promotion of modern British values.
