Licensed Clinical Social Worker, NY License

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Conduct psychosocial evaluations that adhere to evidence-based practices.

• Offer counseling and therapy to patients utilizing evidence-based treatment methods.

• Exhibit proficiency as an individual, family, and group therapist.

• Pursue ongoing professional development as mandated by the licensing board.

• Complete necessary documentation and paperwork, including biopsychosocial assessments as well as treatment planning and implementation, in a timely manner.

• Collaborate closely with patients, families, and the team to navigate treatment challenges.

• Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.

• Show cultural competency and a strong commitment to diversity.

• Respond promptly to urgent or emergency situations.

• Manage a caseload of 15-20 patients weekly, with a minimum of 5 patients seen daily.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of practice (NY or NJ license).

• NY or NJ Medicaid number.

• Familiarity with medical terminology.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills.

• Profound understanding of the psychosocial dimensions of illness and health.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Excellent skills in short-term counseling.
