Licensed Clinical Psychologist – Intake Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Perform a thorough and high-quality intake assessment to determine the needs and obstacles faced by new patients, utilizing a proprietary biopsychosocial assessment tool.

• Effectively communicate with patients while demonstrating proficiency in diagnostic assessment/formulation and providing behavioral health services.

• Offer treatment recommendations following the intake assessment and collaborate with other clinical team members to ensure a smooth and coordinated transition to ongoing care.

• Maintain precise, confidential, and detailed records of patient assessments, ensuring compliance with pertinent intake documentation and regulations.

• Evaluate and screen patients for any potential crisis situations or urgent mental health needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of New York (PsyD, PhD).

• Over 3 years of experience in diagnostic assessment and formulation.

• More than 3 years of experience in providing individual therapy.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a virtual clinical team.

• Availability for some early evening and weekend hours.
