Licensed Clinical Counselor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +11 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee a counseling caseload that includes formal referrals, leadership consultations, check-ins/opt-outs, and coaching for return-to-work scenarios.

• Offer immediate crisis support, perform triage, develop safety plans, and provide follow-up through phone, video, or in-person interactions.

• Carry out clinical intakes and assessments for EAP and PWR clients.

• Ensure timely and professional referrals for clients.

• Act as a subject matter expert on healthcare and EAP trends, referral resources, and best practices for well-being.

• Monitor and report on essential metrics related to program effectiveness.

• Keep accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation.

• Participate in an on-call rotation as part of the Clinical Team.

• Work collaboratively across departments to enhance the client and member experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related discipline.

• Active behavioral health licensure in good standing (LPC, LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT).

• 2-3 years of clinical experience post-master's degree.

• Background in crisis counseling and stabilization, case management, and substance use treatment.

• Strong clinical judgment, excellent critical thinking skills, and the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

• Proficient written and verbal communication abilities in both virtual and in-person environments.

• Familiarity and comfort with learning and using new technologies and platforms.

• Experience in supporting individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds.

• Nice to Have: Experience with Employee Assistance Programs (EAP).

• CEAP certification.

• Certified Coach credential.

• Experience in delivering web-based or telephonic clinical services.

• Experience collaborating with physicians or other healthcare professionals.
