This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Evaluate written materials and AI-generated outputs for technical accuracy, relevance, and professional standards.
• Examine architectural ideas, recommendations, and conclusions in the context of practical implementation.
• Detect factual inaccuracies, unsupported assumptions, and overlooked design elements across various project types including residential, commercial, and institutional.
• Respond to architectural inquiries with clear and well-structured explanations.
• Utilize professional judgment in design, documentation, code, and project delivery scenarios.
• Assess real-world constraints, stakeholder requirements, and relevant standards.
• Provide necessary corrections along with supporting justifications.
• Review building regulations and architectural standards, including the International Building Code.
• Identify dependable reference materials and evaluate the appropriateness of cited guidance.
• Emphasize jurisdictional, technical, or procedural factors.
• Offer insights into Revit, AutoCAD, BIM platforms, and associated design tools.
• Assess architectural documentation, coordination, modeling, and project workflows.
• Clarify professional practices in design development and construction documentation.
• Collaborate asynchronously with a small team of subject-matter experts.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in architecture.
• An active professional architecture license in the United States.
• Experience in residential, commercial, institutional, or various project types.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, professional standards, and architectural documentation.
• Hands-on experience with Revit, AutoCAD, BIM, or similar tools.
• Proficient working knowledge of English.
• Excellent written communication skills, analytical judgment, and attention to detail.
• Reliable availability for around 10 hours per week.
• A professional degree in architecture from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• Active US architectural licensure is essential.
