This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Evaluate General Liability and Auto Liability Bodily Injury claims for clients to ascertain benefits owed.
• Ensure continuous claim adjudication aligns with service expectations, industry best practices, and specific client requirements.
• Analyze and manage claims through actionable plans to achieve timely and appropriate resolutions.
• Conduct investigations and gather relevant information to assess claim exposure.
• Negotiate settlements within the designated authority limits.
• Provide updates on claim activity and processing to both claimants and clients.
• Report claims to the excess carrier as necessary.
• Respond to requests for directions in a professional and timely manner.
• Utilize Sedgwick’s global network of experts and share valuable insights.
• Offer customer-facing claims solutions to clients across various industries.
• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Relevant professional certification in the line of business is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of claims management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Familiarity with US licensing is preferred.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Exceptional judgment, troubleshooting abilities, problem solving, and discretion.
• Capability to manage work-related stress effectively.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities at once.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient keyboarding skills.
