This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
β’ Evaluate General Liability, Auto BI, and Premises claims for clients to ascertain entitled benefits.
β’ Maintain ongoing claim adjudication in line with service expectations, industry best practices, and client service standards.
β’ Manage claims through actionable plans to ensure timely and appropriate resolutions.
β’ Conduct investigations into claims and collect information to assess exposure.
β’ Negotiate settlements within the specified authority limits.
β’ Update claimants and clients on claim activities and processing.
β’ Report claims to excess carriers as required.
β’ Address requests for guidance in a professional and timely manner.
β’ High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
β’ A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
β’ Professional certification relevant to the business line is preferred.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of claims management experience or a suitable combination of education and experience is required.
β’ Familiarity with NY labor law is essential.
β’ Experience in tender processes is necessary.
β’ General Liability expertise is required.
β’ Knowledge of nationwide jurisdiction is important.
β’ NY home-state licensing is preferred.
β’ Capability to investigate claims and assess exposure.
β’ Proficiency in negotiating settlements within the assigned authority.
β’ Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
β’ Excellent judgment, problem-solving abilities, and discretion.
β’ Capacity to manage work-related stress and multiple priorities concurrently.
β’ Ability to meet deadlines effectively.
β’ Competence in computer keyboarding; hearing, vision, and verbal communication capabilities are required.
