This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Accountable for managing First and Third Party Property Damage, as well as Cargo and Third Party Bodily Injury claims arising from accidents involving tractor-trailers.
• Collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders to facilitate resolutions on high-severity issues identified.
• Adapt to diverse business requirements and be prepared to assist with special claims projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Engage in regular claims reviews with both internal and external clients.
• Keep up-to-date with insurance contracts and industry developments by actively maintaining required adjuster licenses.
• Deliver technical knowledge in response to inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
• Over 3 years of experience in managing complex Commercial Trucking claims.
• Extensive experience across all technical facets of Commercial Auto, including but not limited to Physical Damage, Auto Liability, First Party Medical/Personal Injury Protection, and Motor Truck Cargo.
• Deep understanding of analyzing, determining, and applying Coverage for Commercial Auto claims.
• Advanced proficiency in litigation claims management, including ADR and mediation processes related to Commercial Auto risks.
• Experience in managing cases at mediations/settlement conferences, both pre-suit and post-suit, as well as pretrial and post-trial phases.
• Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing, high-growth environment and collaborate effectively across different organizational levels.
• Familiarity with large Fleets (250+) with self-insured retentions and/or substantial deductibles.
• Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written) along with strong negotiation abilities.
• Solid time management, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Flexibility to adapt, embrace uncertainty, and reprioritize effectively.
