
Level 3 Traveling Infrared Thermography Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct high-quality Level I and II infrared thermography certification courses (primarily in-person, with occasional online sessions) throughout the U.S.
• Travel up to 75% to client locations to facilitate 4-day certification courses (generally from Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, occurring every other week).
• Prepare for each course by organizing logistics, which includes travel arrangements, student materials, classroom setup, and ensuring equipment functionality.
• Deliver training in an engaging and professional manner, utilizing real-world examples tailored to the audience's industry and experience level.
• Administer, grade, and report examinations to verify successful completion and certification.
• Provide ongoing support to students to ensure a positive and successful learning experience.
• Maintain high levels of student satisfaction and consistently achieve strong post-class evaluations.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of training materials, including webinars, articles, and other content during non-travel weeks.
• Establish and nurture strong customer relationships, serving as an ambassador for Guidant’s training excellence.
• Collaborate with sales teams to identify upsell opportunities and share customer feedback.
• Stay updated on industry trends, infrared technology, and applications.
• Submit expense reports promptly and assist other departments as necessary.
• Level 3 Infrared Thermography Certification (e.g., ASNT, Infraspection, ITC, or equivalent).
• At least 3 years of hands-on infrared inspection experience in commercial, industrial, or utility environments.
• A strong passion for training.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering technical training in both classroom and/or online settings is preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of infrared camera operation, thermographic principles, and relevant safety protocols.
• Exceptional public speaking and communication skills with the ability to engage a diverse audience.
• Strong organizational skills for managing travel, training logistics, and documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams), and basic audiovisual equipment.
• Must reside within 1.5 hours of a major airport to facilitate efficient travel to customer locations.
