This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• As the Head of Educational Strategy, you will be responsible for the strategic direction of educational development in the Supported Continuing Education sector.
• You will develop guidelines, prepare decisions, and ensure transparency regarding opportunities, risks, and priorities.
• Alongside the Head of Educational Innovation, you will lead the Educational Strategy & Educational Innovation department.
• While you oversee the strategic direction and framework, new solutions and approaches will be tested and further developed in conjunction with educational innovation.
• Development and enhancement of the educational strategy within the Supported Continuing Education sector.
• Formulation of strategic guidelines for offerings, formats, learning architectures, and target groups.
• Participation in projects and, at times, leading central strategic and transformational projects such as our "Learning Experience."
• Analysis and evaluation of technological, pedagogical, and societal developments.
• Preparation of strategic decisions for the board through comprehensive analyses and concepts, including decision-making foundations.
• Coordination and moderation of cross-departmental strategic initiatives.
• Close collaboration with central and specialized departments to effectively translate strategic objectives.
• Promotion of a shared strategic understanding within the organization.
• Analysis, evaluation, and categorization of new learning technologies, didactic approaches, platform models, and EdTech trends.
• Setting strategic impulses for the further development of the learning experience.
• Establishing and maintaining relevant networks, partnerships, and external influencers.
• Several years of experience in strategic leadership, ideally in the educational, learning, innovation, or technology context.
• Strong strategic thinking and implementation capabilities.
• High affinity for AI, learning technologies, and new educational formats.
• Ability to structure complexity and provide orientation.
• Strong value understanding: Education only works when people are engaged with conviction.
• Experience in cross-departmental collaboration.
