This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Oversee the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring all job postings are published promptly
• Identify and recruit legal professionals for current and future firm locations under departmental guidance
• Advertise and source corporate talent as needed
• Act as the main point of contact for job applicants, ensuring a positive and professional candidate experience
• Build professional relationships with candidates to positively represent the firm
• Recruit and source talent based on strategies provided by the Director of People & Culture, Legal Talent Recruiting Manager, and Chief Executive Officer
• Assess applications, resumes, cover letters, and writing samples to independently evaluate qualifications
• Conduct Zoom interviews, document feedback, and identify candidates for further evaluation
• Organize and facilitate interviews with hiring managers while ensuring inclusivity and compliance with labor laws
• Partner with People & Culture on compensation, benefits, and offer packages
• Draft offer letters and onboarding documentation
• Assist with onboarding tasks for new employees alongside the People & Culture Coordinator and Manager
• Dependable remote work setup featuring high-speed internet and an effective workstation
• A minimum of two years of legal recruiting experience is required
• Experience in direct legal sourcing and recruitment for a law firm or legal recruiting agency is essential
• Proficient in using LinkedIn Recruiter for sourcing hard-to-fill positions
• Familiarity with HRIS and ATS systems, including knowledge of Salesforce
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe, and Zoom
• Excellent professional communication skills
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Adaptability to changing priorities and emerging issues
• Willingness to work evenings or weekends as needed
• Ability to manage routine or urgent matters in a remote-first environment
• Must be able to perform the responsibilities of the role with or without reasonable accommodations
