📋 Description

• Assist in the governance activities of Compliance, Privacy, and the Governance, Risk & Compliance Committee (GRC), which includes coordinating meetings, preparing and maintaining agendas, drafting and distributing meeting minutes, tracking action items, and ensuring all records related to compliance committees are complete and organized.

• Oversee and monitor business licenses, registrations, certifications, and other regulatory obligations, which involves maintaining compliance calendars, keeping track of deadlines, coordinating renewals, and ensuring that documentation is accurate and up to date.

• Aid in the management of the policy lifecycle within Compliance, including coordinating updates, reviews, approvals, version control, attestations, and ensuring that documentation is audit-ready.

• Provide assistance with privacy and compliance documentation, such as policies, procedures, notices, and related records, in collaboration with Compliance and Legal leadership.

• Support compliance investigations, case management, and issue resolution by organizing documentation, monitoring status, following up on outstanding items, and ensuring timely and appropriate closures.

• Assist with auditing and monitoring endeavors, including maintaining audit trackers, gathering and organizing supporting documentation, tracking remediation efforts, and facilitating regulatory readiness initiatives (including HITRUST).

• Aid in tracking litigation and managing insurance-related matters, which involves maintaining claim and litigation trackers, organizing correspondence and documentation, coordinating with Legal and Risk as necessary, and assisting with insurance renewals and reporting.

• Coordinate workflows related to vendor and third-party compliance, including intake, documentation tracking, follow-through, and collaboration with Legal, Privacy, and Operations teams.

• Maintain resources for compliance and privacy knowledge management, including templates, trackers, and shared repositories to ensure that information is readily accessible and current.

• Address internal inquiries regarding compliance and privacy processes, documentation, status tracking, and governance workflows.

• Assist with special projects related to compliance, privacy, regulatory readiness, and enhancements to programs.

• Perform other duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of experience in paralegal, compliance, privacy, or regulatory support, ideally in healthcare or another heavily regulated field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Preferred experience in supporting in-house compliance, privacy, legal operations, regulatory, litigation, or risk management functions.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint) and Adobe Acrobat; experience with document management systems or compliance platforms is preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and well-organized documentation.

• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills, with the capability to manage multiple priorities and follow through consistently.

• Proven ability to work independently while effectively collaborating across Compliance, Legal, Privacy, ISS, Operations, and other internal teams.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing regulatory, litigation, and business requirements.
