This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• **Key Responsibilities:**
• - Prepare and assess legal document templates pertaining to US and German civil and commercial laws and regulations.
• - Stay informed about current legal documents, relevant laws, and regulations.
• - Manage and engage with legal partners.
• - Collaborate with internal legal and product teams on product development-related initiatives.
• **Required Skills:**
• - Juris Doctor degree or equivalent legal credential.
• - At least 3 years of cumulative experience in a law firm or an in-house legal department.
• - Strong working proficiency in German.
• - Comprehensive knowledge and experience in civil and/or commercial laws and regulations.
• - Robust experience in drafting agreements.
• - Exceptional legal research and analytical abilities.
• - Capability to convey legal information to a general audience.
• - Proficient in computer systems and adept at using document editing software.
• - Professional proficiency in German, English, and Spanish.
• - Comfortable with reviewing legal documents, templates, forms, questionnaires, and user-facing content.
• - Collaborative mindset with a readiness to work across various departments.
• - Practical experience with AI tools.
• **Desirable Skills:**
• - Strong commitment to accuracy, attention to detail, and quality of information produced.
• - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• - Solid foundation in civil and/or commercial law.
• - Master's degree in civil and/or commercial law.
• - Prior experience with content management systems.
• - Familiarity with legal tech, AI, document automation, legal templates, or self-service legal products.
• - Experience in contract review.
• - Proficient with Jira, Confluence, or similar workflow management tools.
• - Experience working with product teams.
• - Background in a multilingual product or content setting.
