Legal Practice Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Actively contribute to the firm's strategy focused on AI-driven technology.

• Evaluate AI and technology solutions from a transactional perspective.

• Perform structured assessments of new tools.

• Collaborate with the Manager of Process Innovation and the Chief Knowledge and Innovation Officer on planning the technology roadmap.

• Create and implement training programs for attorneys.

• Assist in change management initiatives by fostering relationships with attorney advocates.

• Engage in tool implementation projects from the evaluation phase to rollout.

⛳️ Requirements

• A JD from an ABA-accredited law school is preferred; candidates without a JD may be considered if they have significant legal experience in a transactional setting.

• At least 1–2 years of legal experience in M&A, corporate transactions, real estate, or a closely related field (law firm, in-house, or government).

• Strong understanding of transactional concepts, including deal structure, due diligence, contract negotiation, closing mechanics, and associated documentation.

• A genuine interest in legal technology and AI.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with legal research platforms (Westlaw, Lexis, or similar).

• Capability to manage multiple priorities, communicate proactively, and collaborate effectively across teams.

• Willingness to travel occasionally.
