This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Convert legal reasoning, workflows, and procedural necessities into organized AI-driven systems.

• Create decision trees, escalation protocols, workflow logic, and prompt structures specifically for family law processes.

• Work alongside attorneys and operational teams to uncover possibilities for automation and enhance processes.

• Aid in the organization and upkeep of institutional legal knowledge databases, workflow playbooks, and operational guidance frameworks.

• Develop and enhance AI prompts, retrieval mechanisms, and workflow orchestration logic.

• Support the creation of AI-driven intake systems, document automation processes, and client communication platforms.

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and AI engineers on execution and testing.

• Assist in establishing quality assurance, human-review, and escalation criteria for AI-generated deliverables.

• Oversee AI outputs to ensure consistency, quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.

• Engage in testing, refining, and optimizing AI-enhanced legal workflows.

• Contribute to documenting legal workflows, system logic, and governance protocols.

• Keep abreast of emerging AI technologies, legal tech trends, and changing regulatory factors affecting AI in legal services.


⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD), paralegal certification, legal operations experience, or equivalent hands-on legal workflow experience.

• 3+ years of experience in legal operations, legal technology, workflow design, legal process engineering, product operations, or related domains.

• Profound understanding of legal workflows, procedural systems, and operational process design.

• Outstanding analytical and systems-thinking skills.

• Capability to convert intricate legal concepts into organized workflows and operational frameworks.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong organizational and project management skills.

• Comfortable operating in highly collaborative and cross-functional settings.

• A curious mindset and eagerness about AI, automation, and the future of legal services.
