This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
β’ Assist in the drafting and review of legal pleadings and procedural documents.
β’ Conduct research related to legislation, case law, and legal doctrines.
β’ Update the legal foundations utilized in procedural documents.
β’ Consult case files and perform updates in court systems.
β’ File petitions and track the progress of cases.
β’ Aid in the preparation of files for hearings.
β’ Attend hearings as requested by the supervising attorney.
β’ Provide client assistance under legal supervision.
β’ Document information, client interactions, and case movements in the CPJ system.
β’ Coordinate client scheduling and rescheduling with reception.
β’ Prepare reports and controls related to activities performed.
β’ Organize both physical and digital documents, including scanning and copying when necessary.
β’ Ensure strict compliance with procedural deadlines and internal quality standards.
β’ Participate in training sessions, courses, and professional development activities offered by the firm.
β’ Contribute to maintaining an organized workplace and promote Silva & Freitas' organizational culture.
β’ Currently enrolled in a Law degree program, from the 4th semester onward.
β’ Availability to intern for a minimum duration of 1 year.
β’ Strong legal writing skills.
β’ Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
β’ Comfortable operating computerized systems.
