Legal Expert – Restructuring

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze a synthetic legal matter along with its associated documents.

• Assess six AI-generated deliverables, which are anonymized and labeled A–F.

• Conduct five direct comparisons with a standard comparator output.

• Provide a concise and specific rationale for each preference made.

• Review legal AI work products related to Chapter 11 first-day motions, Section 363 sales and bid evaluations, cross-class plan treatments, and plan objections.

• Complete the tasks according to the candidate's own timeline.

• Contribute to Mercor's projects by training and enhancing AI systems with human legal expertise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed attorney with substantial practice experience in Chapter 11 first-day motions, Section 363 sales and bid evaluations, cross-class plan treatments, and plan objections.

• Capable of evaluating work products comprehensively for accuracy, completeness, judgment, and utility.

• Excellent command of written English.

• Able to work autonomously from written guidelines and adhere to deadlines.

• Commitment of around 18 hours throughout the engagement.

• Must uphold confidentiality under a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

• Use of external AI tools on project materials is prohibited.

• Must operate as an independent contractor.

• H-1B and STEM OPT candidates are not eligible for support.
