This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +1 more country.
• Assist attorneys with franchise secondary reviews, document preparation, proofreading, and quality control activities.
• Maintain professional communication with clients regarding requests for documents, scheduling needs, filing requirements, and updates on projects.
• Collaborate on projects with attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and clients.
• Support attorneys with the logistics of trademark filing and activities related to docket management.
• Engage with clients concerning trademark renewals, filing prerequisites, declarations, specimens, and necessary supporting documents.
• Prepare weekly status reports detailing active matters, deadlines, outstanding tasks, and attorney priorities.
• Monitor action items, assignments, deadlines, and follow-up necessities.
• Keep task management systems updated with precise status tracking and matter details.
• Draft daily summaries of pending assignments, priorities, deadlines, and follow-ups for attorneys.
• Oversee assigned attorney email accounts during business hours and pinpoint matters needing attention.
• Proactively identify potential issues and assist in resolving them before they affect workflows or client service.
• Ensure that deadlines are tracked and met across various matters and projects.
• Carry out administrative and organizational tasks that enhance operational efficiency and client service.
• Manage trademark prosecution workflows, including monitoring applications, office actions, maintenance deadlines, and renewals.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal in business law, corporate law, transactions, or similar legal sectors.
• Preferred experience with or strong familiarity with U.S. trademark filings and USPTO processes.
• Exposure to franchise law or regulatory compliance is a plus.
• Ability to swiftly learn new legal concepts and procedures.
• Proficiency with Clio Manage, Go High Level, Monday.com, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Outstanding organizational and time management capabilities.
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Capability to manage several projects at once.
• Strong follow-through and ownership of tasks.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and use sound judgment.
• Professional client service and relationship management skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive information.

• Available Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM MDT.
