Legal Counsel – Technology, IP & Digital Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Collect relevant information, engage with stakeholders, suggest strategies, coordinate subsequent actions, and ensure follow-up on legal issues.

• Assist in launching products and partnerships by collaborating with product, engineering, commercial, marketing, and operations teams.

• Draft, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts, licenses, agreements for creators and performers, releases, terms of service, and other essential documents.

• Address copyright, licensing, trademarks, content usage, infringement complaints, and disputes related to platforms and technology.

• Aid in resolving content disputes, privacy inquiries, consent matters, age verification concerns, and requirements from payment providers.

• Coordinate with external legal counsel and execute approved legal strategies.

• Develop templates, escalation procedures, and a comprehensive legal knowledge repository.

⛳️ Requirements

• A legal degree and hands-on experience with commercial legal matters.

• Strong understanding of copyright, intellectual property, contracts, technology, privacy, and platform compliance.

• Capability to swiftly learn new areas and identify when specialized expertise is necessary.

• Commercial acumen and experience collaborating directly with business teams.

• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication abilities in English.

• Professional comfort in dealing with lawful adult content and related consent, rights, and compliance issues.

• Experience with digital platforms, creator enterprises, AI, VR, international operations, or adult entertainment is advantageous.
