Legal Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of drafting and negotiating contracts for commercial agreements independently.

• Provide guidance on regulatory issues, intellectual property, employment, and international matters.

• Assist with strategic transactions.

• Work collaboratively with departments such as revenue, marketing, People/HR, programs, finance, engineering, product, and senior leadership.

• Enhance and expand legal processes as the company evolves.

• Aid in preparing for public company readiness and managing global corporate administration.

• Contribute to the development and scaling of the legal function.

• Address unique and intricate legal challenges within a team-oriented environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an A.B.A.-accredited law school.

• 3 to 5 years of experience at a prestigious law firm.

• In-house experience is preferred.

• Must be admitted to and in good standing with a state bar.

• Possess strong judgment and critical-thinking abilities.

• Capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently.

• Take a proactive, solutions-focused approach to legal challenges.

• Ability to collaborate across functions in a dynamic technology setting.
