Legal Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate commercial agreements, vendor and SaaS contracts, NDAs, and associated documentation.

• Address daily legal inquiries from various teams within the organization, providing practical and commercially viable solutions.

• Assist with product and corporate legal matters across Somnia's various entities and jurisdictions.

• Monitor changes in crypto and digital asset regulations (such as MiCA, Clarity Act, and similar frameworks) and translate them into actionable guidance.

• Enhance and maintain internal templates, playbooks, and contract-tracking systems.

• Collaborate with external legal counsel when specialized expertise is required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A law degree and the ability to work core hours in the CET timezone (preferably based in Europe).

• One to three years of pertinent legal experience, ideally acquired at a law firm or in-house.

• A genuine passion for both crypto and AI. Direct experience with crypto or Web3 is a significant advantage but not mandatory.

• Capability to manage matters independently while recognizing when to escalate issues.

• Excellent drafting and negotiation abilities, along with proficient written English skills.

• Comfort in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
