Legal Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assisting the General Counsel with various projects and topics.

• Providing support to all business functions and group companies in Europe and North America on a wide array of legal issues.

• Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements, including NDAs, consulting, services, distribution, supply, and R&D agreements.

• Offering advice on legal, regulatory, and compliance issues across multiple jurisdictions, including competition, anti-trust, anti-corruption, and data privacy legislation.

• Drafting and updating contract templates and aiding in the creation of internal SOPs and legal workflows.

• Acting as a proactive legal partner to the business, ensuring efficient, consistent, and compliant management of legal matters throughout the organization.

• Handling commercial contracting, compliance issues, and the ongoing enhancement of legal processes and standards.

• Overseeing collaborations with external legal counsel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fully qualified lawyer under Norwegian or German law.

• 3-4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in either an in-house setting or at a law firm, preferably in life sciences, commercial, or regulatory/compliance law.

• Experience with an international client base and cross-border legal issues.

• Previous experience in EU anti-trust law is advantageous (covering both vertical and horizontal relationships).
