This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prepare and negotiate commercial contracts, including service agreements with healthcare clients, vendor contracts, confidentiality agreements, software licensing agreements, settlement agreements, information security agreements, business associate agreements, and real estate transactions.
• Offer guidance and advice on contracts, disputes, risks, and possible legal liabilities.
• Assist with transactional activities, including mergers and acquisitions as well as debt and equity financing.
• Perform research on pertinent legal issues.
• Keep employees informed of significant changes in laws, policies, or guidelines within the healthcare sector.
• Provide support to the HR department in matters related to employment.
• Strive to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of legal contract support within the organization while ensuring the quality and consistency of contracts across the company.
• Aid the company in its compliance initiatives.
• Juris Doctorate degree from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association with a strong academic record.
• Must be licensed to practice law in the United States.
• Preference will be given to candidates who have corporate or healthcare legal experience within a law firm, corporation, or healthcare-related company.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and demands.
• Strong proficiency in legal research, including tools like Lexis, Westlaw, and other research technologies, along with experience in file and document management systems.
