Legal Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Prepare, evaluate, and oversee commercial agreements, which encompass Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), assignment agreements, and various contracts related to clients and suppliers;

• Assist with contractual issues involving both Ukrainian and international partners;

• Perform legal due diligence and evaluate legal risks associated with suppliers, contractors, and business collaborations;

• Offer legal counsel and assistance to internal departments (HR, IT, Marketing, Finance, Operations) regarding contractual, commercial, and compliance issues;

• Oversee debt recovery and accounts receivable legal concerns, including advising on collection strategies, negotiating repayment plans, resolving payment conflicts, and coordinating with internal teams and external legal counsel to minimize financial risks;

• Support the maintenance and revision of internal legal templates, policies, and contractual procedures;

• Keep track of legislative and regulatory developments pertinent to the business and propose necessary updates to internal policies and contractual frameworks;

• Partner with external legal experts as required for specialized or cross-border issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in law;

• Proficiency in English and Ukrainian, including skills in legal drafting;

• Over 2 years of professional legal experience in commercial, corporate, or technology law;

• Fundamental understanding of data protection and privacy laws, including GDPR and related regulations;

• Demonstrated practical experience in negotiating, drafting, and reviewing contracts with clients and suppliers;

• Strong analytical, legal, and research abilities with meticulous attention to detail;

• Results-oriented, proactive, and adept at functioning in a fast-paced, business-oriented environment.
