This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements (including partnership, vendor, distribution, and telecom-related contracts) to facilitate Airalo's global eSIM marketplace operations in over 200 countries.
• Offer daily legal counsel to business teams (Commercial, Product, Marketing) regarding contractual risks, regulatory implications, and deal structuring, while appropriately escalating new or high-risk matters.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection regulations, including GDPR and other relevant regional frameworks pertinent to Airalo's international operations.
• Help monitor and interpret telecommunications and consumer protection laws in key operating markets, alerting relevant stakeholders to potential risks.
• Enhance and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and internal legal documents, contributing to legal operations projects aimed at improving turnaround times and consistency within the legal department.
• Support corporate governance activities, including entity management and collaboration with external counsel across various jurisdictions.
• Work collaboratively with People, Finance, and Security teams on legal issues impacting team members, vendors, and company policies.
• Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) or equivalent credential with a minimum of 2 years PQE or equivalent experience.
• Strong foundation in general commercial practice, including drafting and negotiating various agreements (partnership, vendor, distribution), ideally acquired in a rapidly growing company.
• Demonstrated experience in general commercial practice within a fast-paced company environment.
• Ability to advise colleagues directly and clearly during the design phase, rather than post-factum.
• Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing a high volume of contracts and competing priorities with minimal supervision.

• In-house experience at a technology or digital product company, particularly one with operations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Familiarity with telecommunications, consumer protection, or other sector-specific regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in developing or enhancing legal operations tools such as templates, playbooks, contract automation (e.g., Juro), or similar resources.
