Legal Content Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct law-related tasks such as legal and factual research, document analysis, citation verification, contract administration support, and preparation of legal content.

• Manage and supervise the entire lifecycle of legal content, from collection through processing, batching, and delivery.

• Create, maintain, and evaluate operational reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.

• Assist leadership in setting operational objectives, tracking progress, and executing strategic initiatives.

• Oversee content sorting processes, including the assessment and refinement of inclusion and exclusion criteria.

• Facilitate the transfer of content from various collection sources into downstream processing and batching workflows.

• Aid in vendor identification, onboarding, relationship management, and assessment of new legal content opportunities.

• Examine operational challenges, identify underlying causes, propose solutions, and participate in continuous improvement efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent mix of education and relevant professional experience.

• Experience in supporting legal operations, legal publishing, content operations, research, or similar professional settings.

• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with data handling, reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Excellent organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple priorities at once.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

• Capacity to work independently while effectively collaborating across cross-functional teams.

• Preferred: Juris Doctor degree.

• Preferred: Experience with legal content, court records, legal publishing, or legal research.

• Preferred: Background in supporting AI, automation, or digital transformation efforts.

• Preferred: Experience collaborating with vendors or external content providers.

• Preferred: Knowledge of workflow optimization and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Preferred: Experience utilizing reporting and business intelligence tools.
