Legal Conflicts Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Accountable for conducting conflict searches for new client requests on a daily basis, utilizing resources such as Lexis+, Dun & Bradstreet, Bloomberg, Courthouse News Services, and Artificial Intelligence tools in an efficient manner.

• Liaise with administrative personnel concerning the results of conflict checks and provide guidance on any actual or potential conflicts.

• Monitor the progress of pending or ongoing requests.

• Capable of organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks and completing them under tight deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferably 1-2 years of experience with automated conflict checking systems and/or corporate research within a law firm setting;

• Must possess knowledge of corporate research, due diligence, and compliance matters.

• Strong working knowledge of legal research platforms, business information databases, and research methodologies.

• Familiarity with AI-driven research tools and analytics platforms, along with the capability to incorporate emerging technologies into research workflows.

• Ability to work effectively under deadlines while ensuring exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the skill to clearly present research findings and collaborate effectively with attorneys and business professionals.

• Highly organized with strong time management skills and the capacity to handle multiple requests simultaneously.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
