This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Examine contracts and documentation to pinpoint and gather essential requirements and obligations.
• Evaluate and document the business and operational implications of contract stipulations.
• Create and uphold a systematic list of relevant governing authorities, regulations, and certifications (e.g., FAR, DFARS, CMMC, NIST, etc.).
• Keep abreast of regulatory changes and ensure that internal documentation aligns with current compliance standards.
• Monitor modifications and updates to contracts, policies, and compliance frameworks.
• Support the upkeep of compliance processes and documentation for audits or evaluations.
• Prepare and present clear, concise updates to leadership regarding changes affecting the government contracting environment.
• MUST reside in a HUBZone.
• Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate degree program.
• Completed coursework in law, public policy, business, or a related discipline.
• Strong proficiency in reading comprehension and analytical skills, particularly with technical or legal documents.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Keen attention to detail and capacity to organize intricate information.
• Interest in government contracting, compliance, or legal/regulatory sectors.
• Capability to work autonomously and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Familiarity with government regulations such as FAR, DFARS, NIST, or CMMC.
• Experience in research, documentation, or policy analysis.
