This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.
• Conducts and provides timely, high-quality research reports on the company, industry, and other business intelligence to support the firm's marketing department using a diverse array of information resources.
• Collects, synthesizes, and summarizes pertinent, insightful, and well-targeted research regarding prospects, clients, and industries in accordance with the firm's preferred deliverable format.
• Completes assignments within deadlines, typically within 3 or more days per project, as designated by the marketing department.
• 3-5 years of research experience is required.
• Strong working knowledge of legal research platforms and business information databases including EDGAR, USPTO, Secretary of State, Lexis, and Westlaw.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Familiarity with AI-powered research tools and analytics platforms.
• Capability to work effectively under deadlines while ensuring exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficient technology skills, including legal document preparation/review, editing, and MS Office.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, possessing strong time-management skills and the ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously.
• An MLS, MLIS, or Marketing degree is preferred. Relevant current work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
