This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Honduras, +3 more states.
• Support trial preparation by organizing case materials, documentation, and relevant information.
• Assist with electronic court filings and other filings related to litigation.
• Monitor case deadlines and ensure that necessary actions are taken punctually.
• Coordinate calendars and appointments for the staff member and supervising attorney.
• Maintain precise and comprehensive case notes within the case management system.
• Provide translation and interpretation support as required.
• Oversee and manage personal injury case files throughout the litigation process.
• Request, collect, organize, and manage medical records and medical billing documentation.
• Organize, update, and manage case documentation and electronic files.
• Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish regarding case updates, documentation, appointments, and other related matters.
• Assist the legal team with additional paralegal and case management tasks as necessary.
• Follow up on outstanding documentation, requests, deadlines, and tasks related to cases.
• Manage multiple cases at once while ensuring accuracy, organization, and timely follow-up.
• Identify potential issues or missing information and proactively inform the supervising attorney.
• Execute accurate and timely data entry while maintaining complete case records.
• Provide ongoing litigation support to the supervising attorney.
• Assist with responding to discovery requests and organizing discovery materials.
• Draft and help prepare pleadings and other legal documents.
• Communicate with medical providers, insurance adjusters, defense attorneys, court personnel, and other parties involved in active cases.
• Location: Massachusetts
• Time Zone: Eastern Standard Time (EST)
• Working Hours: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday
• Fluent in both English and Spanish
• Prior experience in personal injury is mandatory
• Practical experience in supporting litigation matters and managing personal injury cases
• Experience with case management systems and document management is essential
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, including electronic filing, drafting pleadings, discovery responses, and trial preparation
• Experience in requesting, organizing, reviewing, and managing medical records and medical billing documentation
• Excellent ability to manage deadlines, calendars, case notes, and follow-up activities
• Comfortable engaging professionally with clients and various legal and external parties
• Capable of working independently while maintaining regular communication with the supervising attorney
• Strong attention to detail, discretion, critical thinking, and the ability to handle multiple active cases simultaneously
• Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish
• Experience in personal injury law
• Background in litigation and paralegal work
• Skills in case management and document management
• Experience providing litigation support
• Knowledge of electronic filing, pleading preparation, discovery responses, and trial support
• Experience in managing medical records and medical billing
• Skills in translation and interpretation
• Experience in calendar management and deadline management
• Proficient in data entry and detailed case note documentation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in client communication and communication with supervising attorneys, insurance adjusters, defense attorneys, and court personnel
