This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.
• Draft, review, and format legal documents such as contracts, agreements, pleadings, motions, affidavits, and correspondence under the supervision of an attorney.
• Conduct legal research utilizing online databases and other resources, summarizing findings, and preparing reports for attorney evaluation.
• Organize and maintain digital case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate, current, and appropriately categorized.
• Track legal deadlines, court dates, and filing requirements to guarantee timely submissions.
• Prepare and file legal documents with courts, governmental agencies, or regulatory bodies in accordance with jurisdictional standards.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and external stakeholders regarding case progress and documentation requests.
• Assist in trial preparation by organizing exhibits, witness lists, case summaries, and supporting materials.
• Review contracts and legal documents for completeness, consistency, and adherence to compliance standards.
• Uphold strict confidentiality regarding all legal, client, and company information.
• Provide support to attorneys with administrative tasks, scheduling, and case tracking as necessary.
• A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience as a paralegal or legal assistant is preferred.
• Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and documentation standards.
• Strong research, writing, and organizational abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal management software.
