Lecturer I – Business

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Deliver engaging live online classes with a strong emphasis on pedagogy, organization, and enhancing the student experience.

• Effectively utilize the institution's teaching resources and encourage the use of course bibliographic references to foster critical and reflective learning.

• Plan and execute academic activities that align with the syllabus and the pedagogical goals of the course.

• Provide pedagogical support and promote active student participation and engagement during classes.

• Adhere to deadlines set forth in the academic calendar and respond promptly to requests from the course coordination.

• Record attendance, topics covered, assessments, and other academic information in the institutional system (SIA) within specified deadlines.

• Participate in pedagogical meetings, training sessions, and institutional activities as required.

• Maintain academic quality, uphold professional ethics, and foster positive relationships with students, coordinators, and the institutional team.

• Efficiently utilize the institution's digital tools, particularly Microsoft Teams and academic systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Qualification: Specialization.

• Required: Bachelor's degree and specialization in Business-related undergraduate programs.

• Knowledge or experience in Organizational Behavior and related topics.

• Excellent communication skills, ability to build rapport with students, and demonstrate adaptability and flexibility.

• Up-to-date and proficient in both theoretical and practical knowledge pertinent to the subject matter.

• Proficient in Microsoft Teams and comfortable using digital educational tools.

• Suitable remote working setup, including a stable internet connection, computer, and an appropriate environment for online classes.

• An updated Lattes CV is mandatory; this serves as one of the elimination criteria.

• Previous experience with hybrid or distance education (EAD) is an advantage.

• A stricto sensu postgraduate degree (master’s or doctorate) is advantageous.

• Familiarity with active methodologies and collaborative learning is a plus.
