This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete leave of absence processes, which include intake, eligibility assessment, documentation, tracking, and coordination for return-to-work.

• Interpret and apply federal, state, and local leave legislation, including but not limited to FMLA, ADA, state family and medical leave programs, military leave, and specific company leave policies.

• Guarantee the precise and prompt processing of leave events in line with regulatory standards and client policies.

• Track leave timelines, certifications, and notifications to ensure total compliance and readiness for audits.

• Act as a reliable subject-matter expert on leave for designated managed service clients.

• Address inquiries from clients and employees concerning leave eligibility, rights, responsibilities, and status with clarity and professionalism.

• Proactively recognize potential compliance risks and collaborate with internal teams to address any issues.

• Maintain consistent service levels while managing various client accounts.

• Use a leave administration technology platform to handle leave data, workflows, notifications, and reporting.

• Ensure the accuracy of leave data across various systems and coordinate with payroll, benefits, and HRIS teams as necessary.

• Thoroughly document leave cases to support compliance, reporting, and client transparency.

• Maintain a high degree of accuracy in all leave determinations, communications, and system entries.

• Adhere to established standard operating procedures while identifying potential areas for process enhancement.

• Assist with audits, quality reviews, and client escalations as required.

• Stay updated on changing leave regulations and best practices.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in leave of absence administration.

• Strong understanding of FMLA, ADA, and relevant state and local leave laws.

• Experience in leave administration within a multi-client, shared services, or managed services environment is preferred.

• Proven ability to interpret regulations and apply them to complex, practical situations.

• Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to accuracy.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service.

• Familiarity with leave administration technology and HR systems.
