This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee, monitor, analyze, and summarize proposed as well as existing federal, state, and municipal employee leave provisions, including paid family medical leave and paid sick leave.

• Create, review, and offer ongoing consulting support to clients regarding the implementation and application of leave policies.

• Draft new policies and assess existing client policies for adherence to federal, state, and municipal leave legislation.

• Provide practical advice to employers on the execution and application of leave law provisions.

• Develop and oversee educational content for internal Alliant personnel.

• Prepare and deliver educational presentations via webinars and distribute them to clients and Alliant account teams.

• Create marketing materials that support client services on federal, state, and municipal leave laws.

• Author content related to leave laws for social media channels.

• Conduct primary research on leave laws and manage the leave support platform.

• Engage daily with Alliant Employee Benefits Compliance Consultants concerning the effects of employee leaves on group health plan benefits.

• Attend client and prospect meetings as necessary.

• Develop standard responses for requests for proposals regarding leave support services.

• Generate monthly topics for direct client distribution across Alliant’s content channels.

• Ensure that complete and accurate information is maintained in the agency management system.

• Perform responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree is required.

• Juris Doctor is required.

• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience advising clients and developing policies related to leaves is required.

• Experience in a law firm is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of employee leave laws with a practical and thorough understanding.

• General knowledge of group health plan benefits and the interaction between those benefits and employee leave law provisions.

• Familiarity with regulatory agencies and processes that affect employee leave laws.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to convey complex topics in a practical manner.

• Capacity to work positively and collaboratively across various disciplines and areas of expertise.

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization abilities.

• Capability to meet deadlines.
