This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main operational liaison for HR partners regarding leave and accommodation issues within a designated portfolio, ensuring a responsive and high-quality client experience.
• Take ownership of and manage the operational meeting schedule with HR partners, including setting agendas, leading discussions, documenting action items, and following up on commitments.
• Collaborate with account management on strategic account initiatives, acting as the operational, leave, and accommodation expert during joint client engagements.
• Serve as the first escalation point for operational, claims, and accommodation issues, ensuring timely resolutions and effective communication.
• Develop trusted, long-term relationships with partner stakeholders to enhance retention and program value.
• Ensure consistent attainment of service, quality, productivity, and compliance goals across the assigned portfolio.
• Address HR partner inquiries regarding claims and accommodation statuses within set service-level agreements (SLAs), providing prompt acknowledgments and resolutions.
• Track operational performance through data analysis, reporting, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to guide decision-making and prioritize tasks.
• Proactively resolve issues and mitigate risks to guarantee seamless service delivery.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in absence management, leave administration, claims, disability management, accommodation, or a related operational field.
• Proven ability to lead client or partner meetings, establish agendas, and engage effectively with HR-level stakeholders on operational and claims matters.
• In-depth knowledge of leave and accommodation regulations, including the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and state leave laws, along with the ability to explain how claims and accommodation decisions affect partner data, reporting, and outcomes.
• A post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, Health Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with HR partners, employees, and internal leaders.
• Experience with absence, disability, or claims administration systems; familiarity with reporting tools is preferred.
• Demonstrated interest and comfort with artificial intelligence (AI) and new technologies; experience leveraging AI to enhance operational workflows, decision-making, or productivity is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
