This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of Airbnb’s Community Support Organization learning technology stack and manage the team responsible for it.
• Act as the primary administrator and strategic owner of the LMS, overseeing configuration, permissions, integrations, and content architecture.
• Lead the comprehensive LMS transition, which includes gathering requirements, evaluating vendors, procurement, implementation, data migration, and change management.
• Establish success metrics and governance frameworks for system performance, data integrity, and learner experience.
• Collaborate with engineering and IT on SSO, API integrations, and platform connectors.
• Manage the roadmap and daily operations of simulation, authoring, design, and learner-facing tools.
• Administer the TMS and support operational and reporting requirements.
• Assess, pilot, and recommend learning technologies; develop scalable onboarding, training, and adoption processes.
• Work with data and analytics teams on dashboards and reporting pipelines, translating learning data into actionable insights.
• Oversee vendor relationships, including renewals, negotiations, and compliance with sourcing and contracts.
• Act as a subject-matter expert and point of escalation for learning technology inquiries.
• Define and monitor KPIs for platform performance, learner engagement, completion rates, and training effectiveness.
• Create and maintain reporting dashboards and conduct audits on tool utilization and learner experience.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the team while ensuring effective capacity and workload management.
• Over 10 years of experience in learning technology, L&D systems administration, instructional technology, or a related field within a tech company or high-growth environment.
• Proven experience in owning or leading an organizational-level LMS, including at least one implementation, migration, or significant upgrade.
• High-level familiarity with learning authoring tools and SCORM files.
• Comprehensive understanding of simulation or scenario-based learning platforms.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex technology projects involving multiple stakeholders from inception to delivery.
• Experience collaborating with data and analytics teams; capable of interpreting learning data and presenting insights to non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with vendor management, RFP processes, contract negotiations, and maintaining supplier relationships.
• Previous experience in people management, including performance evaluations and professional development.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Capacity to design measurement frameworks and convert metrics into actionable decisions.
• Comfortable with APIs, SSO/SAML, SCORM/xAPI, and data integrations; coding skills are not required.
• Familiarity with AI-driven training tools and enterprise AI solutions.
• A collaborative and inclusive approach across functions and time zones.
