This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Collaborate with clients to identify their learning needs and convert organizational requirements into impactful learning experiences.
• Participate in the design of learning initiatives and proposals, encompassing program pathways, learning goals, activities, and methodologies.
• Create and curate unique, purposeful learning experiences.
• Identify and engage contributors, providing them with briefs and eliciting their insights.
• Assist in client pitches, articulating the organization’s experiential learning methodology.
• Facilitate Common Purpose programs both in-person and online.
• Foster an environment conducive to experiential learning by establishing trust, promoting engagement, and balancing safety, challenge, and curiosity.
• Enliven learning through questioning, discussions, activities, reflection, and interaction with expert contributors.
• Read the room effectively, adjusting activities, pacing, questions, and methodologies as needed.
• Prepare, evaluate, and enhance delivery through the development of facilitation plans, materials, team briefings, debriefs, and knowledge sharing.
• Extensive facilitation experience, ideally five years or more, in leading groups, learning experiences, or programs.
• Familiarity with experiential learning and pedagogical principles.
• Proficiency in learning design.
• Skills in learning consultancy.
• Client-facing confidence, including the ability to present ideas and contribute to pitches.
• Enthusiasm, curiosity, and an outward-looking perspective.
• Strong interpersonal and group interaction skills.
• Comfort with navigating challenges and complexities.
• Adaptability and sound judgment.
• Reflective approach to personal practice.
• Exceptional written English, oral communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Confidence in facilitating in both in-person and virtual settings.
• Capability to work independently while actively contributing to a collaborative team atmosphere.
• Proficiency in managing diverse workloads, multiple programs, and competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the UK and internationally, including occasional early mornings, evenings, and brief periods away from home.
• Confidence and proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Zoom, and other digital collaboration tools.
• Commitment to Common Purpose’s independent and non-aligned approach to program experiences.
• Ability to demonstrate facilitation experience through programs, feedback, testimonials, recordings, qualifications, or other forms of evidence.
