This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the design process for learning experiences and oversee the course development team in creating learner-focused materials and experiences.
• Collaborate with academic leaders, educators, subject matter experts, and industry professionals to facilitate the creation of curricula and learning resources.
• Convert course visions into engaging instructional strategies and resources.
• Design and produce instructional content, which includes refining learning objectives, sequencing materials, creating assessments, and designing activities.
• Implement instructional design principles, eLearning methodologies, adult learning theories, and game-based learning to ensure students receive Contextualized, Applied, Practical, Relative, and Inclusive (CAPRI) learning experiences.
• Create engaging, learner-focused courses within the learning management system.
• Establish realistic timelines for curriculum objectives in collaboration with the course development team and achieve development milestones for course launches.
• Develop digital resources to enrich classroom learning experiences.
• Assist in the preparation of supplementary guides for both teachers and students.
• Utilize feedback from students, faculty, and academic leaders, along with performance data, to refine curricula and document necessary curriculum changes.
• Aid in the setup of surveys, exams, and assessments to measure curriculum effectiveness.
• Remain up-to-date with assigned program portfolios.
• Stay informed about trends in instructional design, learning sciences, and educational technology.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
• Certification in Instructional Design.
• Proven expertise in video production, web development, and graphic design/layout.
• Proficient in developing online courses and learner experiences, with a focus on accessibility and usability.
• Knowledgeable about the software and hardware used in technology-driven instruction, including Learning Management Systems and AI educational technology tools.
• Familiar with contemporary and emerging instructional pedagogies, adult learning theories, learning outcome assessments, project management strategies, game-based learning, and learning sciences.
• Understanding of Copyright and Fair Use guidelines.
• Strong collaboration, written, and verbal communication abilities.
• Basic planning skills, vision, and creative intelligence.
• A deep passion for education.
• At least 3 years of experience in consulting for and developing eLearning/instructional resources, training faculty and instructors in best practices for utilizing technology to enhance instruction, and creating digital and online instructional materials.
