This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive communication, training, and engagement strategies.
• Serve as a change agent within the organization to facilitate the execution of the organization's vision and objectives for Instructure products.
• Utilize data effectively and adhere to an inquiry process to present your analysis of challenges, apply targeted strategies, and enhance teaching and learning within Instructure products.
• Mentor and inspire organizational leaders, faculty, designers, and staff regarding all aspects of Instructure, particularly Canvas, Mastery Connect & Impact, encouraging educators to achieve exceptional results using these products.
• Assess the organization's needs and address them with Instructure products, including the development of adoption resources, model courses, and other essential deliverables.
• Plan, schedule, and facilitate product training and consulting sessions utilizing appropriate tools and organizational skills.
• Assist leaders in making connections between product utilization and instructional best practices for learners.
• Conduct follow-ups after consulting sessions to track progress and foster success.
• Work collaboratively with team members, Instructure employees, and customers to improve the use of our product(s) throughout the organization.
• Create, curate, and present outstanding help documents, exceptional course materials, and engaging presentations tailored to the organization.
• Exhibit readiness to address any task that aids the customer’s implementation of the Instructure Learning Platform while adhering to internal procedures, Instructure security and privacy protocols, and institutional policies.
• Travel as necessary to support the rollout of Instructure products in appropriate contexts.
• Identify areas where additional support, training, or consulting may be required.
• A minimum of three years of teaching or consulting experience in a K12 or higher education environment, including familiarity with a digital learning setting.
• At least two years of experience with Canvas and/or Mastery Connect is mandatory, with a preference for candidates who have created engaging and inclusive Canvas courses that address teaching and learning needs in a digital landscape. Experience with other Instructure tools such as Studio, Catalog, Credentials, or Impact is advantageous.
• A minimum of one year in an educational leadership role managing a team that supports the deployment of a learning and assessment management system for pedagogical purposes is preferred.
• Proven experience in leading change, establishing strong relationships, developing effective professional development programs, and implementing a technology platform in a large organization.
• Up-to-date knowledge of technology adoption strategies, professional development practices, and educational technology best practices.
• Exceptional executive leadership presence, along with outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative problem-solving abilities, strong analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail. Capability to elicit cooperation from a diverse range of stakeholders, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
• Proficiency in effectively prioritizing and executing tasks in a high-pressure environment and comfort with ambiguity.
• Experience delivering engaging presentations in an educational setting and the capacity to ensure consulting sessions remain dynamic, enjoyable, effective, and relevant.
• Ability to promptly and efficiently respond to project adjustments and changes.
• Willingness to undertake any task that supports the customer’s rollout of Instructure products.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Technology or a related field is required. A Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership or Instructional Technology is a plus.
• Availability to travel to client locations is essential. Future assignments may necessitate additional travel and extended onsite engagements in various locations.
