Lead/Senior QA Engineer – AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement a QA strategy focused on AI technologies.

• Create testing methodologies, processes, and best practices from the ground up, ensuring alignment with our product roadmap and business objectives.

• Safeguard our codebase by blending manual exploratory testing with comprehensive automation, primarily utilizing Playwright.

• Ensure that Backend, Frontend (Nuxt 4/Vue.js), and Infrastructure components interact correctly through thorough integration testing.

• Integrate QA practices into our continuous delivery pipelines and work collaboratively on Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible) to facilitate dependable releases.

• Serve as the gatekeeper for releases, managing bug triage during critical incidents and providing quality reports to the board on a monthly and quarterly basis.

• Spearhead the recruitment, mentorship, and expansion of the QA department.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in the field.

• Hands-on experience with AI/LLM technologies.

• Proven expertise in developing QA strategies and processes.

• Proficient in Playwright, with additional familiarity with frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress.

• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and a robust understanding of Linux environments.

• Capability to perform risk assessments and prioritize testing efforts in a dynamic environment.

• Resilience in managing uncertainty and solving problems creatively with limited resources.

• Proficiency in English: Excellent communication skills (B2/C1) to articulate complex quality issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
