Lead Wind Hub Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Hub Manager to fulfill contractual obligations according to customer needs and daily activities.

• Carry out maintenance, repairs, or part replacements to rectify malfunctions.

• Diagnose intricate mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on variable pitch and variable speed turbines.

• Assist site operations as instructed by the manager while requiring minimal supervision.

• Record all tasks completed using computerized service reporting methods.

• Coordinate with and respond to GE’s remote operations center when needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Wind Technician, or over 4 years of electrical and leadership experience.

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

• Ability to manage repetitive weights of approximately 50 lbs and ascend towers up to 300 feet daily.

• Proficient in understanding electrical schematic diagrams, technical manuals, procedures, and regulations.

• Willingness to work rotating shift schedules and be on-call as per site requirements.

• Customer service experience paired with strong communication skills.
