Lead Web Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• You will be responsible for leading a team that manages the AI self-service portal along with its associated microservices.

• You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers to enhance our user interface.

• Create high-quality, high-performance user interfaces that support product-specific functionalities at the AI ExParte AI Platform.

• Work with product designers to refine user flows during the design phase.

• Engage with other front-end engineers within the organization to share best practices and reusable components.

• Partner with engineers to drive necessary API modifications to optimize user experience.

• Focus primarily on the front-end across our products (We utilize Angular and Bootstrap, transitioning to ReactJS).

• Directly interface with internal teams.

• Assess software and implementation alternatives, documenting them for technical teams.

• Design and implement systems, subsystems, and programs.

• Identify and resolve problems and complex issues.

• Conduct unit testing and address bugs.

• Integrate best practices in quality throughout the design and development processes.

• Be part of a distributed team that spans North America and Europe.

• Work with Azure cloud and Databricks technologies.

• Develop technical architecture and specific implementations to fulfill business requirements.

• Lead the team in adhering to software engineering best practices by documenting standards and performing code reviews.

• Diagnose new and existing code issues, offering feedback and solutions for structural problems as they emerge.

• Provide advice on the feasibility of nonfunctional requirements and ensure successful feature implementation while meeting those requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience with JavaScript/Typescript, HTML5, and CSS3 throughout the complete software development life cycle (SDLC).

• At least 3 years of experience with T-SQL.

• A minimum of 2 years working with .NET Core and Entity Framework Core.

• Over 2 years of experience in software development using ReactJS.

• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.

• Experience in writing REST APIs and developing microservices-based applications.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Ability to tackle challenging issues both independently and within a team setting.

• Capability to collaborate with a customer's development team and guide them in utilizing cutting-edge technologies.

• Quick learning ability and adaptability to new technologies and environments.

• Strong communication skills.

• Nice-to-haves: Experience with Power BI Embedded; familiarity with Python and machine learning; understanding of cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure; knowledge of CI/CD tools within Azure DevOps.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
