Lead Test Automation Specialist – Tricentis Tosca

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the adoption, execution, governance, and ongoing enhancement of test automation for SAP and enterprise applications utilizing Tricentis Tosca.

• Develop and steer the automation strategy, framework, standards, and operating model within SAP Delivery Operations.

• Design, implement, and sustain enterprise-scale automation frameworks leveraging Tricentis Tosca.

• Formulate and execute automation strategies that align with the objectives of SAP Delivery Operations.

• Automate SAP Fiori, Web UI, and comprehensive SAP business processes.

• Construct and preserve reusable automation assets, regression suites, and testing accelerators.

• Assist in SAP upgrades, transformation programs, releases, cutovers, hypercare activities, and BAU testing.

• Integrate automated testing into the testing and release lifecycle processes.

• Establish automation governance, quality controls, standards, and operational procedures.

• Define automation KPIs, reporting mechanisms, and success metrics.

• Identify opportunities to enhance automation coverage and minimize manual testing efforts.

• Collaborate with technical and business teams to boost testing effectiveness and delivery quality.

• Provide mentoring, coaching, and training on Tricentis Tosca and best practices in automation.

• Serve as the Test Automation Subject Matter Expert for SAP Delivery Operations.

• Lead communities of practice for automation and facilitate capability development across testing teams.

• Maintain testing documentation, standards, procedures, and automation artifacts.

• Analyze testing outcomes, pinpoint improvement opportunities, and recommend corrective measures.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives in testing, quality assurance, and delivery processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• At least 10 years of experience in software testing.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in test automation.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca.

• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-scale test automation frameworks.

• Familiarity with automating SAP Fiori and Web UI applications.

• Experience in supporting SAP programs, upgrades, and enterprise transformation initiatives.

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and quality assurance principles.

• Experience integrating automation within Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD delivery models.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and influencing abilities.

• Capability to lead automation initiatives across multiple delivery teams and workstreams.

• Experience working within large-scale global enterprise environments.

• Proven track record in developing automation strategies, standards, governance models, and reusable automation assets.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in mentoring, coaching, and developing automation and testing teams.

• Preferred: Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori testing.

• Preferred: Experience in API and integration testing.

• Preferred: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
