Lead Tech AI/ML Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.

📋 Description

• Establish the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI/ML product functionalities (JobHunt Engine).

• Assume complete responsibility for the product lifecycle from hypothesis formulation to achieving scaled impact, prioritizing business outcomes over mere model performance.

• Convert business challenges into ML hypotheses and actionable solutions.

• Collaborate closely with ML engineers and data scientists to outline data requirements, evaluation methodologies, model oversight, and delivery workflows.

• Create and implement rapid, practical validation cycles.

• Develop clear hypotheses (Problem → Mechanism → Impact → Metric), select appropriate validation techniques, and make data-informed go/no-go decisions amidst uncertainty.

• Work in tandem with Engineering, Data Science, and business teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of ML/LLM fundamentals (NLP, recommendation systems, etc.).

• Practical experience in developing and scaling AI-driven features (matching, ranking, personalization).

• Familiarity with contemporary AI/ML concepts: evaluation frameworks, RAG, agents, model monitoring.

• Capability to establish data pipelines, metrics, and operational processes alongside ML engineering teams.

• Preferred: hands-on experience in a Data Science, Data Analyst, or ML Engineer capacity.

• Over 5 years of experience in a Product Manager position, ideally within a data-centric or ML-focused sector (HRTech experience is a significant advantage).

• Demonstrated ability to formulate and rigorously test product/ML hypotheses utilizing statistical techniques (A/B testing, significance, confidence intervals).

• Proficient in reasoning about probability, causality, and data constraints to make well-informed decisions.

• Entrepreneurial & Hands-on: Possessing a "Let's build it" mindset. Capable of creating quick prototypes and testing concepts without excessive engineering. Comfortable with "building with sticks and glue" for rapid learning.

• Outcome-Oriented: Takes ownership of the business results, not solely the AI model. Pragmatic and willing to streamline or discard features that do not drive impact.

• Excels in Ambiguity: Able to navigate uncertainty, conflicting model outputs, and noisy data. Structured thinker who can clarify complex situations.

• Proficient in English and Russian, with exceptional communication skills for both technical (Engineers, Data Scientists) and non-technical stakeholders.
