📋 Description

• Act as the Supplier Quality Lead for an Integrated Supplier Team managing a critical, high-risk supplier.

• Offer technical and strategic guidance for supplier quality performance, encompassing quality planning, risk management, and ongoing improvement.

• Utilize structured, data-driven methodologies along with statistical tools to enhance supplier manufacturing capabilities, minimize variation, and avert defects.

• Formulate and implement supplier engagement strategies to ensure quality is integrated during capacity expansion and the production ramp-up phase.

• Employ advanced quality engineering principles throughout the supplier lifecycle.

• Evaluate supplier manufacturing processes, quality systems, and technical capabilities to fulfill missile production requirements.

• Perform supplier risk assessments and execute mitigation strategies to prevent quality issues and supply interruptions.

• Create supplier quality plans, process controls, and inspection strategies.

• Engage in MRB, change review boards, and configuration control activities.

• Direct complex supplier investigations and ensure timely closure of Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR).

• Develop and implement Return-to-Green and continuous improvement plans to enhance supplier performance.

• Function as the Supplier Quality Lead for Supply Chain Strategy by providing technical expertise to assess and qualify new suppliers to bolster capacity and resilience.

• Drive early supplier engagement to assure manufacturability and thorough quality planning.

• Assist with capability development and process enhancements to accommodate long-term production growth.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant quality experience.

• Graduate degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant quality experience.

• In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of relevant quality experience.

• Direct manufacturing and operational expertise in composites, EPDM elastomers, phenolic materials, or specialty chemicals.

• Proven experience managing quality performance for strategic, high-risk, or highly technical suppliers.

• Experience in qualifying and developing new suppliers.

• Strong understanding of aerospace quality standards including AS9100, AS9102, and AS9145.

• Exceptional technical writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Capability to work independently while effectively collaborating in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment.

• Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.

• Prior experience with MRB.

• Experience in supporting missile systems or defense aerospace programs.
