Lead Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide direction, mentorship, coaching, and performance management to APS supervisory personnel.

• Conduct regular individual meetings, team gatherings, annual evaluations, and performance assessments.

• Assist in the onboarding and training processes for newly hired investigators and supervisors.

• Track training progress and ensure that necessary milestones are met.

• Act as a mentor and subject matter authority for investigative personnel and supervisors.

• Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team atmosphere.

• Oversee project-wide productivity and performance throughout the investigative process.

• Ensure adherence to project service level agreements (SLAs), timelines, and quality benchmarks.

• Identify operational risks and relay concerns to project leadership.

• Develop and execute corrective actions to address missed deadlines and procedural shortcomings.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives through performance metrics, trend analysis, and team feedback.

• Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with APS policies, procedures, and investigative standards.

• Assess case documentation and work products for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

• Provide consultation and guidance on intricate investigations involving abuse, neglect, and exploitation.

• Assist investigators in case planning, risk assessment, evidence collection, and case resolution.

• Aid in filing protective services orders and other interventions as necessary.

• Cultivate relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, law enforcement agencies, and social service organizations.

• Engage in community outreach and partnership-building initiatives.

• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure coordinated service delivery and favorable client outcomes.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to coach, mentor, and develop staff.

• Strong grasp of investigative practices related to abuse, neglect, exploitation, adult services, or social services.

• Experience in planning, executing, and supporting complex investigations.

• Ability to analyze information, recognize risks, resolve issues, and make sound recommendations.

• Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.

• Capability to work independently and exercise professional judgment in a dynamic environment.

• Experience in developing collaborative case strategies and working with healthcare, social service, investigative, or law enforcement agencies.

• Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Dedication to professionalism, confidentiality, and respect for diverse populations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and web-based applications.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or team leadership experience.

• At least three (3) years of experience in Adult Protective Services (APS), Child Protective Services (CPS), Social Services, Human Services, Investigations, Case Management, Law Enforcement, or Community-Based Services.

• Experience in conducting quality assurance reviews, audits, or compliance monitoring activities.

• Experience managing remote or geographically spread teams.

• Bachelor's degree required.

• Ability to maintain a dedicated, secure home office environment.

• Reliable high-speed internet connection is a must.

• Occasional travel may be necessary for meetings, training, or project-related activities.
