This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, construct, and sustain scalable automation solutions across both on-premises data centers and multi-cloud settings.
• Collaborate with platform, security, and application teams to pinpoint manual processes and implement automated alternatives.
• Oversee the assessment and integration of automation tools, setting up governance and best practices.
• Design and establish CI/CD pipelines that facilitate automated testing, deployment, and rollback functionalities.
• Generate and uphold documentation, runbooks, and standards for all automation solutions and frameworks.
• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to engineers engaged in building and utilizing automation solutions.
• Monitor the health of automation systems, recognize failure trends, and promote ongoing enhancements.
• Keep abreast of new automation technologies, tools, and industry developments.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise IT operations, systems engineering, or infrastructure architecture.
• At least 4 years of practical experience in designing and executing automation solutions within hybrid and/or multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud, GCP, VMWare Cloud Foundation 9.0+).
• Extensive knowledge in Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Puppet, and Chef for provisioning and configuration management.
• Proficient programming and scripting abilities in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or ARM templates.
• Established experience in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Strong understanding of on-premises infrastructure, including Windows and Linux operating systems, networking, and security infrastructure.
• Knowledge of configuration management, event-driven automation, and self-healing infrastructure models.
• Understanding of DevOps and agile methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
