Lead Software Engineer, Microsoft Technologies

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Lead the transformation and decomposition of monolithic applications into architectures based on microservices.

• Establish and uphold best practices for API design, business logic, and system integrations.

• Mentor and guide developers in creating scalable, maintainable, and secure services.

• Promote the adoption of cloud-native and containerized deployment strategies, primarily within Azure environments.

• Supervise the development and optimization of workflows for high-volume data processing.

• Integrate and utilize data from Microsoft Fabric and other related data platforms.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.

• Maintain performance, reliability, and scalability across distributed systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.

• Over 7 years of practical development experience using C# and .NET.

• Proficiency in working with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerized environments.

• Strong background in SQL Server, particularly in managing high-volume data processing.

• Experience in integrating with Microsoft Fabric or similar data platforms.

• Comprehensive understanding of API design, system integrations, and cloud-native methodologies.

• Familiarity with event-driven architectures.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with large-scale system modernization projects.

• Proficiency in Spanish (mandatory for collaboration with regional teams).
